Summer Beach Project: In The Beginning

 Hello!

I have exciting news for my upcoming summer. But first, I want to catch you up on my current life. I am still enrolled at West Georgia Technical College for my second-to-last semester for my Early Childhood Care and Education Decree. I am enjoying working with the children at the local elementary school and making connections with other teachers. I am also still working at Bowdon Coffee Roasters and I am still having fun making drinks and serving people. Additionally, I am still crocheting and selling items at BCR. My output has slowed down as my social life has picked up. Nevertheless, I still really enjoy crocheting. Lastly, God has given me more opportunities to share my faith and gospel with my friends. Also, he has allowed me to get closer to my Christian friends. I’ve really enjoyed all the people God has placed into my life.

This Summer...

So, back to this summer. This summer, May 18-July 11, I’m going to Panama City Beach for Summer Beach Project. SBP is an 8-week project that is intended to help college students grow in their faith and learn how to share the gospel with people around them.

Why?

I think this is a great opportunity for me to step out of my comfort zone of my family and immediate church to mature in my faith. At first when I heard about SBP, It was an absolute no. But as I’ve grown in my faith and branched out over the last year, I find it a great resource for growing in my faith and dependance on Christ.

The cost of SBP is $2500. $400 has already been put towards it and if I don’t raise the money before it starts, I have enough to back it personally. But the reason I send this letter is to give my family and friends and opportunity to share in this investment of summer 2025.

Additionally, if you don’t give, I encourage you to pray for me. Pray that God continues to provide all of my needs as I seek his kingdom. Pray that I am not choked out by the cares of the world. Lastly, pray that all the words I speak are from the Holy Spirit and that they do not return void, but glorify God.

Thank you for your support in my life.

May God bless you and keep you and let his face shine upon you, giving you grace and peace.
