Kim Namjoon(RM): Part 1

It's been a while since I posted. This time, it was just because I forgot. I'll do better in the future. This picture is of RM, or Kim Namjoon, from BTS. I drew him twice, so you'll see another picture of him next. First, I drew him by myself, then I drew him with Tabby. I like this picture best because he looks happy. It doesn't look much like RM, but I like the picture anyway.

I drew this on February 28, 2019. It's interesting. I drew this two years ago. It is all pencil. My sister and I, Tabitha were drawing Grace Park from Hawaii 5-0(the newer version). She didn't work out, so I just made her a little different.

This is one of my sister's friends, Cyrah. She is a part of our homeschool group. She came over to our house one day, and I drew her real quick. She wanted to keep the original, so I took a quick picture of it. This was done in all pencil. She loved it.

This was a picture I redrew of a drawing I did when I was obsessed with mermaids. I redrew it to make it more realistic-looking and more interesting. I really like how it turned out. I'm kinda glad I didn't color it too. I don't think it would've turned out well anyway. I love the detail.

I drew this picture after being inspired by Perfume's dances and style of clothing. I really like the outfit. I drew this all in pencil. The only thing about it that I don't like is her shoes. I'm not good at drawing heels(or shoes for that matter). I should practice more.

I forgot why I drew this dog. I really don't like dogs, so I'm not sure why I drew this one. This was done with markers(probably cheap ones). I like the speckling on it's side though.

April Prompt

I just recently joined an art club where there is a prompt each month. You can draw as many pictures in accordance with the the prompt within that month. Because I joined at the end of April, I drew only one picture. The prompt was that you have to draw a picture with your dominant hand and with your non-dominant hand. My brother asked me, "why did you draw the same picture twice?".

This is Danny. I really like this picture. At the time, I was trying to make a tutorial about drawing(see top right"Finished detail and form". I don't necessarily want to post the tutorial, so I don't think I will. Of course, I drew him with a red pen(as you can see).

I don't particularly like Anne Hathaway, but she is certainly beautiful. My favorite thing to draw on her was her hair. It was really fun to draw. My sister Tabby also drew her, it was fun to be with her.

This is Casper. She was a cat that used to live near us. She was so loud and talkative. She would literally sit beside you and meow, and meow, and meow. Did I forget meow? I don't think this is a correct representation of her personality, but who's counting?

There was a picture I drew when I was younger and planning my wedding. I did a couple of other dresses, but I don't know where they are. Fun fact, I used to hate Spring(the season), because it didn't make sense to me. Maybe soon I look for the old version of this picture, but for now, Oh well.

This was done March 2, 2019. About two years ago. For fun, I might redraw it soon. I drew it in pencil and lined it with Sakura Pigma Microns.

A couple of months ago(probably before Christmas) me and all my sisters went and played tennis together. My oldest sister(the girl with the tennis racket in her hand) and I used to play a lot together last summer, but she got busy and she had to go back to school. It was a great experience. We took a selfie and I drew it. I made it with pencils and Sakura Pigma Microns. (clockwise from top: Micah, Leah, Me and Tabby).

Tabby, my sister, and I kinda started back drawing a couple of months ago like we used to last year. Now that she's a busier, we haven't done it in a while. This was supposed to be the character Joselyn Carter from Person of Interest. It didn't turn out right, so now it's just a lady. I do like this picture though, I do, I do!

This is the new Annabelle that I did last year. I feel like she looks like an older woman compared to the old Annabelle. I wish I would've made her look a little younger. I like her hair the most. I drew her with pencil and inked her with a fineliner.

When I was younger, apparently, I loved the name "Annabelle" and I have a couple of pictures of girls with the name Annabelle. I'm not sure what sparked my interest to draw this girl, but this picture reminds me of my childhood. I used to always draw on lined paper. I did this picture in 2014, so 7 years ago. Next post will be this picture that I redrew. This is drawn with pencil.

Here is a dog painting I did for a friend. She commissioned me to do 2 paintings for her room since she is redesigning it. It wasn't too hard to do this. It was very calming to paint fur though. I don't paint dogs that much either. I did this painting with Acrylic paint on Canvas.

I did this one almost exactly as the original. I wish I had made the girl smile more in this one. I was very proud of my colored pencil skills.

This cool cat picture was modeled after one of our neighbor's cats, Neesa. Though she is actually a calico, I wanted to make this cat white to contrast the bright colors. I love the splashing effect. I painted this with watercolors and/or acrylics(I was very loose with paints back then).

I did this piece while I was obsessed with illustrations that some people would do on youTube. I don't know why I was so inspired. I like the background, but she is kinda on the ugly side. I also like the shading on her face. I used watercolors I believe.

One time, I had an art course and they told me to draw 12 pictures of the same thing in different media. I chose a blue eye. This is a cat's eye painted with watercolor pencils. I don't like watercolor pencils that much, but I kinda like this piece.

So, I had a simple idea of redrawing the Sunmaid Raisin girl on the front of the raisin box, so that was fun. I was going to do her as an anime but decided against it. I like all of the details of the original.

I don't know why it took me forever to start posting on the art gallery again, but here's another! I received two square canvasses for my birthday, so I decided to make them pretty with scriptures and acrylics. I used acrylics for the background and a large-tipped Sharpie for the words.

Last year I decided to try Inktober. Inktober is an art challenge where you use inks to draw something every day in October. Unfortunately, I didn't make it through it because one,  I hated the prompts, and also, some family problems arose. For this one, of course, I used Sakura Pigma Micron fineliners over a pencil outline. I had no idea what to do for the word "Husky". I thought of drawing a "husky" man or just a Husky dog, but yeah... I combined the definition of Husky and a picture of a dog(I didn't use a reference either). Mostly guessing.

Petunia

Petunia is a vertical-stroked cat, I drew her with up and down strokes only. I enjoy drawing like this and I really enjoyed drawing her particularly. Drawing people this way is really hard and it's really ugly.

So I drew this well, I'm sure you can see the date. This is a picture of a man from a show that my family used to watch, but the man is slightly different-looking and he doesn't have a beard. I was just trying my hand at drawing facial hair. I guess I'm okay at it.

So I had gotten interested in Furries, which are animals that are personified. This is my Original Character, Deanna Fur. It's supposed to be like me. It started off ugly, but when I keep working, it slowly got better. I did this one on Watercolor paper and painted another one with my sister's I pad like a Lightbox. It was fun.
